tt the obvious way to do that would be tell the public the truth and just ask them not to hoard these supplies. Well in the real world that doesn't work in a pandemic. People are gonna hoard. You can ask them not to hoard but people are gonna hoard. So if you can tell them they don't need to hoard there's no purpose to it. Maybe it's a better play.

So did Fauci and other experts, the Surgeon General for example, did they intentionally lie to us about the value of masks? I don't know if all of them did. Some of them might have believed the other experts and just parroted them. But if they did lie to us but the purpose of it was for our own good I'm actually okay with that.
