Phew, I was so willing to go to nuclear war, but now that Trump has talked to us." So I think that's something that Trump would know that neither of them wanted it. They just needed some external reason to make it look like a good idea to stop being belligerent.
So maybe Trump does deserve a Nobel Peace Prize for what he did. We'll find out more about what he actually did because I don't know, but maybe.
