I always said, "Well, obviously if it's on a database, they would have fixed that a long time ago because it's such an important system, so my guess would be it's pretty advanced." Well, nothing like that's true. Turns out that the Social Security system is aging and needs a total overhaul to be digital-first. And so the new head of Social Security is going to use some of the DOGE staffers and the DOGE process I think to get that done. So that's actually kind of exciting because if they designed the system right, you don't have to go looking for all the fraud. It would just prevent the fraud from happening in the first place.
