But here's my take on this. Do you remember the time when Trump couldn't get good lawyers to defend him against massive waves of lawfare? And it was because the lawyers were afraid that if they got political, meaning just defending Trump, that it would cost them later. The law firm would suffer, and they wouldn't be able to get regular clients. And that was a big problem. And I thought to myself, that's one of the worst things I've ever seen. That you create lawfare for a candidate, that's already as bad as you can get. And then you make it impossible for that person to get good representation.

Now, I think Trump ultimately got great representation because he did navigate the lawfare stuff really well. So I'm no lawyer, but just judging it from a lay person's perspective, it feels to me that the legal team that Trump eventually put together while he was out of office, I think they were great.
