incorporate it into your future life, you're going to be way better. These slogans like Make America great again and Make America healthy again and fight fight, if it's the Democrats doing the fight thing, what are they going to get? Their affirmation is fighting. So if you focus on something and repeat it over and over, what's that called? It's an affirmation. An affirmation is concentrating on something and really focusing on it because there is something that's semi-magical about that. Now, I don't know if there's real magic. I just think that you get better results when you're super focused on what you want. But just think what the two sides are focused on. So Trump focuses on Make America great again and then you watch and you say, "Oh, our borders are better." And you know, there are a number of things you could put into that category. Make America healthy again. That's a good affirmation, isn't it? That's just like one of the best affirmations you could ever have. But what about fight? Okay, this fly is just eating me alive right now. You just will not stay off me. It's going to be me versus the fly in a minute. So here's your lesson. Don't accidentally do an affirmation. Affirmations are pretty powerful, even if their only effect is not magic, but rather the psychological effect that has on the person who's doing it. So if you're doing the right affirmation, Make America healthy, Make America great, there's a better chance you'll get that thing or at least move toward it. If you pick the wrong affirmation, you're gonna still get the thing you affirmed, a fight. The Democrats are actually asking for fighting. Do you think they'll get it? Yes. Yes, they actually get fights. And when we look at the protests, somebody said there's another Tesla protest coming. I don't know about that, but if there is, I'm sure there'll be a fight, right? So there's your lesson. Don't do accidental affirmations. And that's what the Democrats' messaging is so broken that they're accidentally asking for the worst thing that anybody could ask for, a fight. If they had been asking for a victory, I might be all in. Oh, victory. But a fight? Who asked for the fight? Democrats don't do that. Well, Kash Patel has excitedly announced, and he's way too excited about this for what I think is reality, that China has agreed to turn off the pipeline of fentanyl precursors. Because Mexico and their cartels, they can't make fentanyl unless they have the raw ingredients. I guess there are about 13 potential raw ingredients. And they've been coming from... Hold on, hold on. May have been success. I may have gotten that fly. All right. I don't see him yet. We'll let you know. Very exciting. And then also part of that deal allegedly according to Kash Patel is that China would watch closer or crack down on several industries that would be relevant to making the precursors. Now, why would this be different than the other times that China said they would do exactly this? Why do we think t

e's, I may have the name wrong here, but it looked like there's some YouTube channel by Cam Higby, maybe some other people. It looks like they're trying to duplicate the Charlie Kirk college debates. So they went to TSU and they tried to do the thing where anybody could come up and debate them. And it formed, and they said there was an anti-white riot that erupted because they were so hated for just being white Christians with a MAGA hat that it just caused a riot, basically an anti-white riot, they called it. But I was amused because I've seen Charlie Kirk do the same thing. So they were doing the debate before, I guess before the trouble started, and there was a young Black man, a student, who was pointing out the discrimination and the inequality for Black Americans. And so I don't know if it was Cam or maybe he's just the one who does the videos. So the young white guy who was taking the questions and the debate, he said, can you give me an example of, let's say, a law that would prevent you from doing something but allow me to do something? No. No, I can't think of any examples. All right. Well, is there any non-legal thing that I can do that you can't do in America? Well, all the things, you know, the things, all the things. So amazingly Black Americans don't know that they have superior rights in this country and have for a long time. They have superior rights. Meaning that if I wanted a job and I got a choice to be Black or white just for the purpose of looking for a job, what do you think I would pick? I mean seriously, I would pick Black every time. And so would

y. If you're sure that it's just an imaginary structure in their head, you are not obligated. Well, you know, I've talked quite a bit before about trying to create an agent that would look like me, like a clone of me, and would survive me and go on forever as my AI version of me. Well, apparently that's a growing industry. They're called deadbots, AI dead bots. And a deadbot would be a bot or an agent or an AI entity that represents somebody who's passed away. And apparently this is like a real thing now and companies are getting into it and managing your digital assets and stuff like that. So the digital afterlife industry, it's an actual thing, is expected to be like a really big industry. I'm not aware of any company that can do this. I know there are a lot of companies that can do parts of it. There are companies that can make something that looks and talks just like you, but I don't believe there's any company that can make something that looks and talks like you and doesn't hallucinate. And I don't think that you could even make one with off-the-shelf apps anyway that would even reliably look at a file you provided for some facts you wanted to get right all the time. I don't think the technology is there. So I don't know if this industry will really take off unless people are happy looking at their dead loved ones saying crap that never happened in the real world. I mean, that would be weird. Well, apparently the White House was asking Nvidia for a share of the revenue of chips that the White House would allow them to sell to China, which would not be their best ones because that would be too dangerous to let China have their best AI chips. But Nvidia is putting up a fight and I guess they're saying that they'll fight any government action to try to get a revenue share. So, this is one of those cases where the government can blackmail a company, but I don't think it's like some other cases where the government is just being helpful and getting something in return, you know, like keeping them from becoming bankrupt or something, they get something in return. I feel like it's different if you just say, "Oh, well, I'm the only one that can approve this," but all they're doing is approving something. Do you get 15 percent of revenue for just that particular kind of business just 'cause you approved it when approving it is your job 'cause it's the government's job to approve things or disa

the state law mandates them to purge ineligible voters and they're just going to keep the illegal aliens apparently on the rolls. So in other words it looks like exactly they are planning to cheat in Arizona. We know how they're planning to cheat. They're showing you that they're not going to change it. They're going to disobey their own law and it looks a lot like they're planning to steal the election. Don't know for sure but it sure looks like it. Well here's the good news. Lara Trump she said that they do have poll watchers, poll workers and legal experts will be everywhere votes are cast, counted. And she says do you want to help? So if you'd like to be part of the watcher group the URL to go to would be protectthevote.com. So any of you who want to be like onsite and watching for irregularities I think Lara's team will probably offer some guidance or training there and it's called protectthevote.com. So here's my take on this. I think Republicans are going to uncover massive fraud only because they know where to look for it and they'll find it. I mean I think we can expect they'll find just all kinds of stuff. The whatever was happening in Georgia whether it was rigged or not I don't have proof either way. I think there's good evidence to show that things were deleted they shouldn't have been deleted and that you know there's a lack of forthcomingness in some cases. So there's something going on let's just say that. If you can't smell the smoke of some election irregularities I don't think you're paying attention. I don't think you're paying attention. There's something deeply wrong with our elections. They are not auditable which is all you need to know. They're not fully auditable. So when people say something got audited or double checked or counted they're usually looking at some very narrow thing that wouldn't tell you at all whether the election was rigged or not. It would just tell you if that very narrow thing was done right. So for example they could recount mail-in votes and then they would call that an audit. But what if half of the mail-in votes were from people ineligible? Well they wouldn't check if they were eligible they would just recount them and say look we counted them right the first time second count matches I guess we're good nobody found any fraud. And then the legal system would say wait wait wait we did find some fraud and they take it to the courts and the courts say well it's too late or too little or you don't have standing we don't want to deal with it. But if Laura Trump has done what I think she has done she has trained the watchers to really find the good stuff to know where to look. If they do find the good stuff or even if they allege they found the good stuff there's no way the election is going to get certified. So I'm going to double down on my election prediction that there won't be one. There will be voting but I don't believe that the country is sufficiently organized and honest enough to produce a result that we could even verify. So somehow we're going to have to pick a president but I think the vote will be ignored no matter which way it goes. I guess if the Democrats get their way they're more likely to try to push ahead but I don't know. I think the election will be so non-credible probably both ways that we're just going to have to figure out what to do. All right so let me talk about the messaging from Harris and then Trump. All right so the Democrats have been pushing the Trump's going to steal your democracy which I don't think anybody understood. So Harris quite smartly tried to redefine that in a recent interview in which she said well you know rather than thinking about it as stealing your democracy there would be more accurate to think of it as stealing your freedoms that Trump would try to take your freedoms. So now you might ask what freedoms? What freedom is Trump trying to take? And here are the actual answers because Harris has now listed the freedoms. So one is the freedom to control your own bodies which means birth control and abortion. Trump's view is he doesn't want to have anything to do with that stuff. So Trump's official policy is I don't want to be involved in making any laws about anything. I don't want to stop birth control of any kind the morning after pill or anything else and I don't want to be involved in decisions about abortion. I want the states to do that. Now given that every state has at least half of the men in favor of abortion right it's even more than that usually but at least half of the men are in favor of abortion that means that if women are in favor of it by majority there's a 100% chance they'll get it. Voting still sort of matters. So women have complete control in the states. They just have to organize and convince each other. So women will you stop pretending that men have anything to do with this? Convince women. If women by let's say 80% majority wanted abortion in their states and 50% of the men were on that side too they could stop anybody from getting elected anybody they could stop their funding. That would be such an overwhelming advantage on one of the top issues that they could kind of get anything they wanted. It won't happen right away. So if Democrats are complaining that the end of Roe v. Wade created a situation where a third of the states I guess can't get the abortions that they want I would say for the people who wanted those abortions that's very bad in the short run. I think you have to admit that no matter where you are on the topic. But in the long run women have complete control of their bodies because they have complete control of the elections. They just have to be on the same side. If women are not on the same side why are you complaining to the rest of us? It's definitely women have to decide first and then maybe try to convince the rest of us. But if women can't decide although I think women are like two-thirds for abortion in the United States. So my argument about that is that women have full control of thei

f wood. That's just me. They did the same thing during World War One and Two. They did. Yeah I'm not saying it's a bad strategy. I'm just saying it doesn't sound like the winner's strategy. It sounds like in addition that the other side has better weapons. Because I don't think Russia is doing that. Do you think Russia is making a bunch of wooden artillery? They don't need to because they have so much of the real stuff. Yeah I mean it's just an indicator of what's happening there. All right. I was asked on the locals platform somebody asked me what's the difference between affirmations and wishful thinking. So an affirmation is when you're imagining the thing you want to be true as an aid to making it true. And wishful thinking is just when you wish you had something. And my answer is this. Wishful thinking is just wanting. Affirmations is closer to deciding. Because if you can chant or write down or visualize this goal every single day you probably decided. Because you just wouldn't do that unless you had really committed yourself to it. Because the affirmations are sort of the last thing you do sometimes at first. But typically you know you're already trying to do something in that regard. You're trying to make something happen and then you say all right how about affirmations. So affirmations are a pretty good sign because you're going to do it every day that you're committed to this thing. Wishful thinking is like me thinking well you know if I were Elon Musk what would I do today. Right? But I'm not trying to make myself Elon Musk. It's just uh wouldn't that be fun. And then you watch a movie and you see somebody's having a good life you say oh wouldn't that be fun. But that's just wanting. And there's no faith involved in either case. Let me be clear. Believing and having some faith has nothing to do with any wishful thinking. There's no faith required for wishful thinking but there's no faith required or belief for affirmations. The idea behind affirmations which may be not even true is that the simple process of concentrating on a goal makes it more likely to happen. There are several ways that could be true. Way number one is that there's some backwards causation happening. And the way that works is if you can spend 15 minutes a day focusing on your objective it probably means you already decided to do whatever it takes to get there. So it's the deciding whatever it takes to get there that was probably the operational part. But by coincidence there's a correlation between people who are going to do whatever it takes and people who would also do an affirmation. So it could be the affirmations are just attached to people who are going to do whatever it takes. So that you would see a correlation between affirmations of success. Then that would be the least magical explanation right? That would just be pretty straightforward. People who do one thing are likely to do the other thing as well. So it's not the other thing that's predictive it's just associated. So that could explain it all. I would be one of those personalities. So my personality is once I've decided to do something I'm going to do all of the things. You know I'm going to do all of the things. And one of them might be affirmations whether I think it works or not. Because once I've decided I'm going to do all the things I'm not going to leave out any of the things like if they might work. All right try it. So that could be one reason they appear to work. Another would be that you there's something called a reticular activation. I didn't make this up. It has to do with the fact that you notice things that are relevant to you. And repeating a goal makes something more relevant to you because it's at the front of your mind. So whatever is at the front of your mind tends to be the filter where you notice things in your environment. For example if your best friend bought a certain color and model of car from that moment on the moment after you saw your friend bought this car a certain color model you'll see that car everywhere. You get on the highway there's one there's one and you never noticed before. It's because your friend's car moved to the front of your mind and it became your filter and now you're seeing things that you just wouldn't have noticed before because you changed your filter. That's how it works. Now suppose that you did an affirmation about becoming a famous cartoonist and you didn't know how to do it. Would you notice some opportunities that you wouldn't have noticed before because you set that in the front of your mind? Well that's what made me a cartoonist. I literally was doing the affirmations but didn't know how to become one. And I turned on the TV and I noticed, would I have noticed before don't know, I noticed there was a TV show telling people how to be a cartoonist. Now I missed the show and I wrote a letter and asked some questions and that got me started. But would I have even noticed if I hadn't put that filter in the front of my mind to become a cartoonist? No no. So it could be just filtering for opportunity. There's a study by Dr. Wiseman who studied luck. Luck. He wanted to see if there was such a thing as luck. There isn't. So it turns out nobody can guess things better than other people. But he did this study I talk about all the time where he asked people to sort themselves by optimists and pessimists. And then he gave them all the same tasks which was to count the number of photographs in a newspaper. So the pessimists counted the number of photographs and on average they got the right number. Let's say that was 42 just to make up a number. And but it would take them several minutes to go through the newspaper and count them all up but they'd get the right answer. The optimists would also get the right answer but it would take them seconds. They were done in seconds but it took the others minutes. And the reason that the optimists were done in seconds on average again this is just on average is that the optimist noticed that on page two of every newspaper in big writing it said stop counting the photographs there were 42. It was right there in big writing. Stop counting them they're 42. Now the pessimists were not expecting any luck. That's what pessimists are. So they just said one two photographs three Droopy Dog four five forty two. The optimists are always looking for luck all the time. Something good is going to happen to me. Something good is going to happen. And they're like all right let's start this task. Hey I guess I can stop. I got some luck. I thought this was going to be boring but look I got lucky. Page two it says stop counting. Boom done. So Dr. Wiseman hypothesized that what's happening here is that people who expect luck are actually adjusting their filter to see more of it. So is it possible that when I was expecting good things to happen you know to become a cartoonist that I just set my filter for good luck and then I saw it and then I saw some good luck? Maybe. The other possibility for why affirmations could work is it just makes you more serious about your goal. You basically talk yourself into being more serious about it by thinking about it and repeating it every day. So it could be just that. Maybe it makes you focus better. But the experience that people have is almost magical. Like there was some luck that popped up. Maybe they're just noticing the luck. But here's the weirdest explanation. That we live in a simulation. That this reality of ours is a simulation. And that the way you navigate the simulation is by your intentions. Your intentions. That's what an affirmation is. An affirmation is your intention put into words. When you put an intention into words what happens? Words are the operating system of your brain. They're words just words. So as soon as your intention turns into a set of words then you can reprogram your brain. The intention isn't good enough. You need to word it reinsert it and repeat it and then it becomes the code in your brain. That's what a reframe is. All right so my book teaches you how to use words in a short sentence to reprogram your brain. There's no effort involved. You just read the words you're done. Read it once and that's all you have to do. That's the entire change. Read one sentence once. And there are 160 of those sentences. So one possibility in the simulation is that you're not just programming your brain with words which would be good but there might be something even weirder. If we're a simulation it could be that's the way we steer within the simulation. In other words maybe we have lots of possibilities but when you focus on one it actually veers you into a reality in which it's true. So it's not that there's one reality and there's one set of things that could happen. There are infinite dimensions and you can through your affirmations move your path off of a dimension that you're heading toward and toward a different one. So you're not making something happen. That's the way it feels like affirmations feels like you made your environment change. But what if the environment's never changed and all that happened was you moved to a new one? That would be perfectly possible if we're a simulation but not possible under more normal understanding of reality. Now given that I'm pretty sure we are a simulation because the odds are a trillion to one that we're anything but that. That's a longer discussion. My understanding my operating understanding of affirmations is that it's a steering mechanism to steer toward a reality that's more in my liking. So wishful thinking is just some thinking about some good things. There's no operational part to that. It's just thinking. Once you have an intention and that intention turns into words and you either read it as a reframe such as my book or you turn it into an affirmation where you say I Scott Adams will have a best-selling book. I actually use that one on my best-selling books. And so that would give you all the tools you need to change dimensions. All right how many of you just had your minds blown? And anybody's mind just blow up? Laughs. I love watching the comments when I know something's happening. Yeah yeah this is one of those moments when you're saying to yourself holy cow. Yeah this is sort of a holy cow moment isn't it? Now you understand my entire life. The filter that I just explained to you with affirmations and the simulation and all that that's what I live every day. That's my everyday understanding of my environment is what I explained. It's really nice. It's nice to live in that frame. Whether I don't know what's true. Maybe truth is beyond us. But I can live in that frame and it's really pleasant. Where because I feel like I'm changing my environment but really I'm just changing which environment I choose to experience. And I would argue that there are other forms of affirmations. Somebody mentioned prayer. If your frame is that there's a supreme being and that praying to that supreme being is the mechanism that causes the thing to happen in your real life that could be nothing but another way to steer toward another dimension. You know one where the things are happening that you want. So it could be that the god model works perfectly well or as well as affirmations because it would be just a steering mechanism in both cases. Yeah but in my telling of things the faith wou

that's a good sign for the rest of the day. How many of you have ever heard of something called aphantasia? It's the inability to see things in your mind. I didn't know that people were all over the map on that. And apparently people don't — there are some people who don't think in images. I don't even know what to think about that, because I only do. And apparently the test, I was just seeing this on Wikipedia or someplace, is if I told you to imagine an apple and then I said describe to me what you see in your mind, apparently there's a wide range of how clearly people see the apple. Now I'm sort of an artist. I'm sort of an artist by profession, and I can tell you that I can see the apple as clearly as a photograph. How many of you would say that if I imagine it, it's just like a photograph? Yeah, usually all the details. I can rotate it. I can change its color just like a photograph. Now how many of you would say the opposite? And I think it might be like just five percent of people or less or fewer. How many of you would say you can't see the apple at all? Is there some who say you can't see it at all? It's just sort of a concept of an apple but you don't actually see it. So we have some, right? Yeah, there's some people saying that that applies to them too. You know, this I don't think there could be a better example of understanding how differently people are experiencing their reality. I honestly don't even have a way to imagine what it would be like if your imagination didn't reproduce things as well as the real world. I don't even know what it would feel like. I have no way to even visualize it. Well, I can't imagine it. I suppose if it were visual I could visualize it. So one of the secrets about why I can draw, you know, let's say a new object is that I'm tracing it. It's actually tracing. I know you hate me because that makes it sound too easy, but I see it first and then I just put the lines on where I see it. Now if you can't do that, and apparently there are a number of you who can't, how would you ever learn to draw? It feels like if you tried to draw it would be like stick figures and stuff, because the one in your mind you wouldn't know what it looks like on the paper, right? So I would guess, and when I see artists who could do photorealistic drawings, I think maybe they're even further than I am in terms of being able to see it.
